Viewing Platform : Xbox 360

The Xbox 360 is a console video game platform created by Microsoft and the follow-up to the original Xbox. It was released in North America in November of 2005 and in Europe and Japan in December of 2005. From its launch the console fully incorporated online functionality putting an ever-changing array of games and advertisements directly on the Dashboard. Like the PlayStation 3, it offered and pioneered online features including Friends lists, activity feeds, online multiplayer, an Achievement system and digital distribution.
